ACK Diocese of Kitale · 2024–2028 Strategic Plan
“Embracing the New Things God is About to Do”
Isaiah 43:19-20
The ACK Diocese of Kitale 2024–2028 Strategic Plan builds upon the solid foundation laid during the first strategic plan cycle, charting a clear path for church growth, community development, and spiritual formation across the diocese over the next five years.
Guided by our vision of “a vibrant diocese empowering churches to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission,” this plan outlines strategic priorities across five pillars. As one body of Christ, gifted differently and diversely, we serve Christ's purpose together — building on the achievements of recent years while addressing new challenges and opportunities.
The plan continues the strategic framework established through the Bishop's Charge at Consecration in 2018 and refined during the 2019–2023 cycle. It reflects lessons learned, emerging ministry needs, and the aspirations of our parishes and local churches across Trans-Nzoia, parts of Bungoma, and Elgeyo Marakwet Counties.
“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
— Jeremiah 29:11
“A vibrant diocese empowering churches to fulfill the Great Commandment and the Great Commission.”
In accomplishing this vision, our priority ministry goals will be to ensure a diocese that is spiritual, resourced, and missional.

Accomplishing these strategic priorities demands all we are and all we have. It takes a united and committed team of all the men and women of this diocese, working together to fully benefit from the diverse and rich gifts and resources God has endowed upon our members.
“Unity in Diversity” remains the banner that guides us as we honor our differences and accept our common divine calling.
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”
Philippians 4:13
Regular progress reviews through the Standing Committee of Synod Members and Diocesan Boards

Capacity building for parish clergy and lay leaders to implement strategic objectives at the local level
Together, let us “embrace the new things God is about to do” — Isaiah 43:19
